I'm really unsure wether Bruce should stay or go, but I can't see how anyone would want Blues to lose 1, let alone 4-5 on the spin, just to get someone out |

Why not? If you think a new manager can get us playing decent football and into the premiership, then it's worth it. If the alternative is we carry on playing rubbish football, then even if our luck holds and we somehow get promoted, we'll be straight back down. Where's the use in that? |

The question is SO ludicrous it hardly merits a reply I would like to see Bruce removed from office but I would NEVER ever want Blues to lose any game I have to laugh at some of you lot........you constantly gripe about the Bruce Out Brigade yet you constantly post threads you know are going to provoke and intimidate and just start another 'insult saga' We might be 2nd in the League but bear in mind there are still 36 games left in the season with more injuries, suspensions and the heavier pitches to come....Plus the fact there are at least TWELVE other sides still in with a shout to go up The table in early October means absolutely NOWT so please stop crowing about it....The one after 46 games is the only one that really counts A lot of you are mis-interprueting the message MOST of us are making.....we feel Bruce is not the coach to take us back up at the 1st attempt.....Being early in October there is still time to salvage the season.....even in the games we have won ,apart from one game we have looked a very ordinary side with defensive frailties and no real pattern As Alan Curbishley is currently available we merely feel he would be the man to take us back to the Promised Land and keep us there.......and this c@p about him only wanting a PL job is annoying because he has ALSO stated he would consider an ambitious CCC club so please will some of you try not be so blinkered Bruce had his chance and blew it.........Plain and simple KRO |

So you have decided to start the ball rolling on that count then. <_< As for myself, no I could never in my wildest dreams wish a defeat on the Blues. Call it blue tinted glasses call it want you want, that's just the way it is for me. |

OK tomsta, since you started the it, would you be happy to accept losing 4 or 5 games on the trot between now & the end of October it were to guarentee you promotion come May? Yeah - now you've thought about it, no one can guarentee such a thing, so it's a pointless arguement. I would not want us to lose a single game. If we play the next 5 games badly & win them, I will be grateful for the points, but I will not be happy with the future potential for the team. (ie Bruce out) If we play the next 5 games badly & pick up less than 9 or 10 points (ie, as above). If, however we play the next 5 games & get 15 points and 15 goals, I will be prepared to keep my own opinions of SB's ability to further the long term progress of Birmingham City Football Club to myself (ie Bruce to stay at least until January, with no more of this "civil war" between Bluenoses. |

By stating that the original post is ludicrous and that you have to laugh at some of the other posters comments on here imo is inciting a slagging match. |

Apologies.........I can't see how the simple English word 'ludicrous' is deemed as an insult, mate ....it is purely an OPINION Point taken but are we really to believe there's going to be a 'ban' or a 'watch' on words like Ridiculous...Obscene ....Absurd.....Outrageous.. Patronising.......etc etc canadianbrummie.......surely an insult is a four letter word,a degrading remark or any profanity ...is it not ??? And come on...we ALL laugh at some posts or don't we ??......isn't that one of the good things about this forum ??? ....and BTW I didn't laugh at the comments so much as saying I merely said I laugh at some of the Pro Bruce Brigade the way they choose to word these topics..... Let's get it straight CB........I do not HATE SB and I don't particularly like others who insinuate that I do hate the guy...I actually like the guy as a person and think he did a great job in his 1st 3 years...but the last 2 have been woeful and some of us are simply trying to induce a change at the club ....There,plain and simple, hope I wasn't being offensive KRO |

I've never wanted Blues to lose a game/s to see the back of a manager. I do feel Bruces shelf life is decreasing with every game and i would like to see a new manager installed sooner rather than later..... I'd like to think the board would see fit when to make a change, afterall i don't think it would take four or five defeats on the trot to see Bruce axed.... We are obviously aiming for Promotion and nothing less than an average of two points a game will suffice. We are already behind that tally and the pressure is on now to get back on track..... IMO if we continue as we have in recent games to drop points on a regular basis either home or away i think the board will act.... |

Partisan I never said ludicrous was an insult but imo it can be deemed as incitful. As for the other words given such as ridiculous, obscene and absurd of course they can be used within the correct context. And lastly you are fully entitled to your opinion on Bruce and mark my words that your opinion has no bearing on your ability to post on this messageboard. |

What if losing 4 or 5 games now meant the axe for SB, and us installing a new manager and getting promoted - does that change how people might think, 'cos with the right man in charge, that could happen? |

I would NEVER want Blues to lose. I think SOME (not all) of the Sb-in fans are missing the point. This is not an anti-Sb drive because we hate the man and want our own club to suffer. We want him out because we believe he is stopping OUR (mine and yours and everyone else on here) club being as good as it should be. We all want the best for BCFC, just have different opinions on how to achieve that 9which is why some of Wisel's mug/snide remarks about fans damaging the club are so ridiculous.) IF we were playing super football and winning comfortably (not neccessarily hammering teams, but at least looking comfortable) I would fall on the floor at SB's feet. the fact is we are not. Couple that with the absolute TRIPE we have had to endure in recent years, and I have come to the conclusion SB is tired, out of ideas and not the man to lead us. But I would still NEVER want us to lose a game. |

Strange how some people use the 'we think' statement over and over. Are people not confident of their own views, or do they feel they are not individual enough to have their own thoughts, or are they blinkered enough to believe that their views are echoes by anyone else. My experience of life is that even if people feel similarly, no two people will ever agree totally and no-one can therefore speak for anyne else. It always gives me a smile though, I imagine a committe sitting and agreeing the wording of the response before posting. |

Not very logical is it  Surely its the bad play and losing that has attracted your so called "internet-whingers". So if we kept winning, they'd have nothing to whinge about, and would go...... But back to the topic, and leaving you and wisel alone in your attempts to provoke - No blues fan wants us to lose. And as the board stayed loyal through last year's dire performances and relegation, 4 or 5 losses are hardly going to shift them. I seriously feel that it would take a slide toward the relegation area to even make them re-consider the manager's position. And nobody wants that. I think we've got Steve for as long as Steve wants to stay. I think it's in his hands, completely. |

IMO no right thinking Blues supporter should want the team to lose regardless of thier personnel view of our manager. I also believe the board will back Mr Bruce untill at least xmas, unfortunately based on current form it may be to late for an immediate return to the top flight by then, so regardless of how we get them i want to see us win games. However my problem is what happens if we get back up, i dont think that Steve Bruce is a premiership quality manager simple as that. |

Lads, as long as we are top3-4,then the board will stick with SB as there is no guarantee that a new manager will do any better. I too am in the "I think brucie 's days may be numbered camp " BUT as long as he is boss then we have to have faith with him and hope we get promoted first time. Also,I think the players should take some of the blame as let's face it for 90 mins they are supposed to do the job they get paid for,It's not Bruce that misses sitters so let's forget last season,it's history and nothing we say is going to change anything. The board could have and should have sacked SB after the Liverpool game but did not,we all know why,is that Bruce's fault so let's c where we are in January cause there's no way the board will sack SB at the moment, they may have a quiet word about displays but I think thats all it is at the moment.
